Documentary on Engleitner’s 2004 USA Tour
$14.99 plus shipping and handling
In
his 100th year the Austrian Leopold Engleitner embarks on an exciting
journey that takes him clear across the USA. As one of the world's oldest
concentration camp survivors he captivates audiences in Washington, New
York and Los Angeles with his “unbroken will”.
Leopold Engleitner, born 1905, refused to serve in the Nazi army because of his bible-trained conscience as one of Jehovah's Witnesses and his belief in freedom, decency and humanity. He was persecuted as a conscientious objector and tortured in three concentration camps.
Through his
courageous advocacy of peace and justice this ordinary man is an outstanding
example of adherence to one's conscience. Engleitner provides impressive proof that age is no barrier to reaching
remarkable goals. And on Malibu beach a long-held dream finally comes true
